Your role in the Wolfpack:
- Define the category strategy for Footwear & Equipment together with the CPO and drive its execution in alignment with brand and business objectives.
- Create and drive seasonal business plans, ensuring clear alignment and execution across all functions.
- Lead the global Product Management and Merchandising functions for Footwear & Equipment.
- Build consumer-focused and commercially relevant assortments across product tiers, channels, and regions while ensuring a consistent global brand vision.
- Own category margin and profitability through strategic pricing, product mix management, and assortment steering.
- Drive assortment productivity and efficiency through optimized SKU architecture, segmentation, and range complexity management.
- Translate financial targets, channel strategies, and commercial input into seasonal range plans.
- Lead the category through the GTM process and inspire through compelling presentations at key GTM milestones.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative team to ensure the creative and design vision is consistently translated into commercially relevant product assortments.
- Partner closely with Sourcing teams to ensure Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier capabilities support development targets, commercial objectives, and business needs.
- Responsible for the category budget and resource management.
- Lead continuous process improvement initiatives across the organization and drive efficiency.
What you bring:
- 8 years+ of experience in Product Management, Merchandising or buying within the outdoor industry with at least 3 years in a Leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the footwear and/or equipment market, consumer needs, and industry trends.
- Proven ability to build commercially successful and consumer-relevant assortments.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with solid business and product acumen.
- Visionary mindset with a hands-on and can-do attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly structured and organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of category KPIs.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams.
- Strong collaborative and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Passion for outdoor culture and deep understanding of outdoor consumers.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
